Biography
Dr. Michelle Ridenour is a clinical audiologist at Goshen Physicians ENT, Speech & Audiology. She provides comprehensive hearing healthcare for patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult and geriatric populations with hearing and balance concerns.
Dr. Ridenour specializes in diagnostic audiology, performing tests such as behavioral audiometry, visual reinforcement audiometry, immittance testing and otoacoustic emissions. With more than 15 years of experience in hearing amplification, she focuses on individualized hearing device selection, fitting and ongoing maintenance. She also has advanced training in cerumen management and vestibular assessment.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Ridenour enjoys staying active in her community. Her husband, Cole, owns a small business, and together they support their two sons, Connor and Blake, in their many activities. Both boys are involved in travel hockey with the Irish Youth Hockey League and play lacrosse with the Irish Youth Lacrosse League. When she has free time, Dr. Ridenour enjoys traveling, spending time at the lake, reading, catching up on favorite shows and volunteering in local schools, community organizations, church and youth sports leagues.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Ridenour approaches patient care by building trust and taking time to understand each person’s unique concerns. She believes audiologic care is a partnership that extends beyond test results. Her practice centers on active listening, clear communication and compassionate counseling with patients and their families. Hearing issues can feel overwhelming and Dr. Ridenour prioritizes helping patients feel comfortable, informed and confident in understanding their results and treatment recommendations.
