Sultan Niazi, MD, is a board certified internal medicine specialist at Goshen Hospital. He also serves as the medical director for Goshen Physicians Sleep & Allergy Medicine and Goshen Sleep Disorders Center.
Dr. Niazi provides care for critically ill patients in the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) and progressive care unit (PCU). Many patients in the ICU are in unstable condition caused by disorders, such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, strokes or severe trauma. Dr. Niazi acts as the medical team leader and takes primary responsibility to coordinate a team of specialists to provide complete care for the patient. The collaborative approach helps improve the quality of patient care, reduce complications, shorten lengths of stay in ICU and enhance safety.
Dr. Niazi is also board certified and fellowship trained in pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine. He provides advanced therapies for patients with complex pulmonary conditions and sleep disorders.
