Individual Marketplace
Individual Marketplace plans, also known as Exchange or ACA Marketplace plans, are health insurance plans purchased on your own, outside of an employer's group plan. These plans are available through the Health Insurance Marketplace (a government-operated website like HealthCare.gov) or state-run Marketplaces, where you can compare options, apply for coverage, and potentially qualify for subsidies like premium tax credits to lower your monthly costs.
