Goshen Health Advances Strategic Affiliation with Parkview Health
Goshen Health announced today it has signed an Affiliation Agreement with Parkview Health, marking an important next step in strengthening local healthcare access and expanding services for patients across Elkhart County and the surrounding region.
The agreement follows the Letter of Intent announced earlier this year, when Goshen Health’s Board of Directors formally began pursuing a strategic partnership with Parkview Health to ensure long-term sustainability, expand local care capabilities and support the future health needs of the community.
For more than 100 years, Goshen Health has served this community with a commitment to compassionate, high-quality care close to home. Leaders from both organizations emphasized that preserving and expanding local healthcare remains the foundation of the partnership.
“This is about growing and expanding our clinical capabilities to meet the healthcare needs of the region for the future,” said Randy Christophel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Goshen Health. “Goshen Health has proudly served this community for more than a century and this partnership allows us to build on that legacy by expanding services, investing in technology and ensuring patients continue receiving high-quality care close to home.”
The partnership positions Goshen Health to better meet the evolving healthcare needs of the region through additional clinical resources, expanded capabilities and long-term strategic investment.
Leaders from both organizations emphasized the shared values and long-term community commitment that helped shape the agreement.
Both organizations believe strong local healthcare systems are essential in creating a thriving community. Parkview has expressed a long-term commitment to supporting the communities that Goshen Health serves.
“Goshen Health has built a strong legacy of exceptional care in Elkhart County,” said Dr. Ray Dusman, President of Physician and Clinical Enterprise, Parkview Health. “We are honored to welcome their nearly 2,000 Colleagues, along with the patients they serve, and look forward to building on that foundation together.”
There are no immediate changes to patient care, services, staffing or day-to-day operations as a result of this agreement. Patients will continue receiving care from the same trusted providers at the same Goshen Health locations they know today.
The Affiliation Agreement remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory review, which is expected to take at least 90 days. The organizations anticipate finalizing the affiliation in fall 2026, pending those approvals.
Goshen Health remains committed to transparency and ongoing communication with patients, Colleagues and the community. Updates regarding the partnership process will continue to be shared at goshenhealth.com/partnership.
