Goshen Health Auxiliary Board awards scholarships to future healthcare professionals

The Goshen Health Auxiliary Board recently awarded scholarships to local students pursuing careers in healthcare, helping support the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Each year, the Goshen Health Auxiliary Board provides $1,000 scholarships to up to 10 local high school graduates who are continuing their education in healthcare-related fields. The scholarship program reflects the Auxiliary’s commitment to investing in the future of healthcare and supporting students as they begin their professional journeys.

Seven scholarship recipients attended the Auxiliary Board meeting on July 14, where they introduced themselves, shared their college plans, and expressed gratitude for the financial support they received.

“The Auxiliary’s annual scholarship program is one of the best things we do,” Jim Kroemer, Chair of Goshen Health Auxiliary, said. “Our winners are all very accomplished students, athletes and musicians and just wonderful people. Helping them achieve their career goals is very satisfying. The future of healthcare is in very good hands.”

The students recognized during the presentation were Malorie Olson, Emerson Krull, Maya Ernsberger, Kate Rheinheimer, Bella Blosser, Kylee Sark and Adria Brown.

The Goshen Health Auxiliary supports patient care and community health initiatives through fundraising, volunteer service and scholarship opportunities. By investing in future healthcare professionals, the Auxiliary helps strengthen the healthcare workforce and advances its mission of improving the health of the communities it serves.
