Goshen Physicians adds Patricia Bezerra, MD, to meet growing need for endocrinology care

Goshen Physicians is expanding access to endocrinology care with the addition of Patricia Bezerra, MD, a fellowship-trained endocrinologist who is now welcoming new patients.

Dr. Bezerra cares for adult patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, parathyroid disorders and other hormone-related conditions. She also provides medical weight management services to help patients improve their overall health and well-being.

Dr. Bezerra's addition expands access to endocrinology care for patients across Elkhart County and surrounding communities. As demand for specialty care continues to grow, her arrival will help reduce travel and wait times for patients seeking treatment for complex endocrine and metabolic conditions.

Dr. Bezerra completed internal medicine residency training in Cleveland, Ohio, before pursuing fellowship training in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She has a special interest in diabetes management and helping patients prevent diabetes-related complications through personalized treatment plans, patient education and shared decision-making. Fluent in Portuguese, she is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals from diverse backgrounds

Dr. Bezerra is welcoming new patients at Goshen Physicians Endocrinology located at 2024 Dorchester Ct, Goshen, IN 46526. To schedule an appointment, patients must receive a referral from their primary care doctor.
