At Goshen Health, we know that healing happens in community, and sometimes, that community comes together in cardboard boats and rockstar costumes. That’s why we’re thrilled to join the 2025 Great Cardboard Boat Race, hosted by Crossroads United Way, where creativity, camaraderie and a splash of competition come together for a great cause.

This year’s theme, “Rock & Row,” invites teams to channel their inner legends of rock while paddling across LaSalle Bristol Pond in boats made entirely of cardboard. Held on August 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Elkhart, the event promises high-energy races, live music, delicious food and plenty of laughs.

Our Goshen Health crew is suiting up in rock-inspired gear and putting our teamwork to the test on the water. But we’re not just here to race, we’re here to support the mission of Crossroads United Way and help raise funds that strengthen families and improve lives across Elkhart, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties.

Every cardboard boat built and every cheer from the shoreline helps fuel programs that provide education, financial stability and health resources to our neighbors. It’s a fun, lighthearted way to make a serious impact and it’s exactly the kind of community spirit we’re proud to be part of.

Want to support our Colleagues? You can donate a vote! Each dollar you contribute counts as a vote toward Goshen Health’s boat in the People’s Choice Award. Your donation helps fund vital community programs through Crossroads United Way.

Let’s rock, row and raise hope together!
