Biography

Dr. Allyson Schiefer is an obstetrician and gynecologist at Goshen Physicians OB/GYN. She specializes in comprehensive women's healthcare, providing care for patients from adolescence through post-menopause.

She offers a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services, including preventive care, prenatal and postpartum care, infertility evaluation and treatment, and the management of conditions such as endometriosis and abnormal uterine bleeding. Dr. Schiefer also performs minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Schiefer is passionate about caring for women during some of the most important and personal moments of their lives. Whether guiding a patient through pregnancy, helping manage a gynecologic condition or focusing on preventive wellness, she takes a personalized approach to care and works to develop solutions tailored to each patient's individual needs.

She believes patients should feel heard and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Through education and meaningful patient relationships, Dr. Schiefer helps individuals feel confident in their care and healthcare choices.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schiefer enjoys spending time with her husband, children and extended family. She also enjoys hosting family and friends, reading, playing games and spending time on the lake, including water sports.
