Magnet Designation
Goshen Hospital is proud to hold Magnet® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a designation that signifies excellence in Nursing and patient care. In 2024, Goshen Hospital achieved its fifth consecutive Magnet designation and was honored with the prestigious Magnet with Distinction™—a recognition awarded to top-performing Magnet hospitals that exceed national standards. This achievement places Goshen Hospital among an elite group of fewer than 60 hospitals nationwide to receive Magnet recognition five times. Patients benefit from this distinction through improved outcomes, reduced complications, and higher satisfaction, while Nurses experience a supportive environment that fosters professional development, collaboration, and innovation.
Goshen College School of Nursing Ribbon Cutting
On May 7, during Nurses Week, Goshen Health will join Goshen College in celebrating the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Center for Nursing and Public Health. The facility features a state-of-the-art simulation lab, sponsored by Goshen Health, that precisely replicates the hospital rooms and equipment used at Goshen Health—providing students with hands-on training in a real-world environment. This milestone reflects the strong, ongoing partnership between Goshen Health and Goshen College in advancing nursing education.
