October was a powerful month of community support for the Goshen Center for Cancer Care, with two generous donations made in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Together, these efforts raised over $8,500 to support compassionate, comprehensive cancer care in our region.

On October 8, the Viewrail Team proudly went pink, raising $684 through a company-wide initiative to honor those affected by breast cancer. Team members wore pink and came together to “support the fighters, admire the survivors and remember the angels.” Their donation was presented to the Goshen Center for Cancer Care in recognition of the work being done to support patients and families in our community.

Just one day later, on October 9, Wawasee and NorthWood High Schools united for their annual Pink Out Volleyball Game. The event transformed the gym into a celebration of hope and awareness, featuring pink t-shirts, a photo booth, hair tinsel, raffle baskets and a Wall of Hope, collecting cash donations. The evening culminated in a check presentation totaling $7,880 – a testament to the dedication of student-athletes, families, fans and local businesses.

“I’m deeply honored by the incredible support shown at this special event,” said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health President and Chief Executive Officer. “Seeing our community come together with such generosity to support the Goshen Center for Cancer Care is truly inspiring.”

These donations reflect the strength and compassion of our local community and its commitment to supporting those impacted by cancer. Goshen Center for Cancer Care is deeply grateful for the continued partnership and generosity shown by Viewrail, Wawasee and NorthWood High Schools and all who participated in these events.
