Goshen Center for Cancer Care welcomes surgical oncologist

Gopal Menon, MBBS, MD, MPH, MBA, has joined the surgical oncology team at Goshen Center for Cancer Care. Dr. Menon has advanced training in minimally invasive and robotic procedures to treat cancers of the head and neck, esophagus, liver, pancreas, stomach and colon. He recently completed his surgical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, New York.

“Dr. Menon brings global experience in caring for patients with complex cancers,” said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health President and Chief Executive Officer. “We welcome his highly specialized training, multidisciplinary approach and dedication to ensuring patients receive the best care possible.”

Dr. Menon earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences in Karnataka, India, and completed his surgical residency at New York Presbyterian-Columbia University in New York. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester Simon Business School in Rochester, New York; a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts; and a fellowship in Global Surgery from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
