Goshen Center for Cancer Care welcomes Nurse Practitioner Maria King
Maria King, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, OCN, has joined the oncology team at Goshen Center for Cancer Care. As a board certified nurse practitioner, King brings extensive oncology experience and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
In her role on the medical oncology team, King provides comprehensive care for patients from diagnosis through treatment and survivorship. She collaborates with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, emphasizing patient education, clear communication and caring support.
King treats adult patients with a wide range of cancers and hematologic disorders. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she served as the first nurse educator at Goshen Center for Cancer Care and gained experience in infusion services, phone triage, women’s retreat programming and medical, surgical and radiation oncology clinics. This experience gives her a well-rounded perspective on the cancer journey and the needs of patients and their families.

King earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goshen College. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is an Oncology Certified Nurse.
Her clinical interests include symptom management, patient education and survivorship and supportive oncology care.
Outside of work, King enjoys spending time with her family and supporting activities that promote wellness and connection.
King believes in caring for each patient as a whole person, building trust through attentive listening, honest communication and personalized care so patients feel informed, respected and supported at every stage.
