Goshen Hospital recognized for exceptional heart attack care
The American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association have again recognized Goshen Hospital as in the top 10 percent of hospitals for heart attack care. In 2024, only 259 hospitals in the nation received the NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award. Goshen Hospital is the only one in this region to receive the award, and it has consistently met the standards of heart attack care for 13 years – every year since the award has been offered.

The Summer Health Lunch Bunch program aims to improve the health of the community by providing interactive health education to students and families at targeted summer feeding sites. More than 9,500 students have participated in the program since it began.

The Goshen Farmers Market offers a free program focused on encouraging kids to make healthy food choices. On Tuesdays from 3 to 7 p.m. during the months of May - October, children can participate in Sprouts Kids Club and receive free tokens to spend on fresh produce from local farmers at the market.
Don’t just sit. GET FIT! Park Bench Fitness helps families be more active
Goshen Health launched a collaborative project last fall to increase physical activity in local parks. By scanning a QR code located on signs near benches, the Park Bench Fitness program gives community members access to free exercise videos in English and Spanish that give participants an opportunity to get a full body workout using nothing more than a simple park bench.
