"Accidents and injuries happen and oftentimes need skilled medical attention right away," said Randy Christophel, Goshen Health President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our walk-in clinic provides expert orthopedic care that’s more convenient and less expensive than in an emergency department.”
Providers offer immediate clinical care for patients with broken bones, strains, sprains and other acute orthopedic injuries. Walk-in appointments are not available for patients with serious or complex injuries, including concussions, or those who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident. Patients must schedule an appointment for chronic orthopedic issues, such as arthritis, joint injections, podiatry treatment or follow-up care. In addition, patients with insurance that requires prior authorization to see an orthopedic provider will need to schedule an appointment.
