How to recognize endometrial cancer symptoms

The most common symptom of endometrial cancer is abnormal vaginal bleeding, including changes in menstrual cycle, spotting between periods and bleeding after menopause. These symptoms occurs in about 90 percent of women at the time of diagnosis.

Other signs of endometrial cancer include:

  • Abnormal vaginal discharge
  • Painful sex
  • Pelvic pain
  • Difficulty urinating or pain with urination

Since these symptoms are similar to a wide range of gynecological conditions, it’s important to see your doctor. If it is endometrial cancer, finding it early offers the highest chance for a cure.
